Repair Services
In the event that a unit is damaged or otherwise not performing as specified, repair and maintenance service is available. Warranty repair will be performed within one year from the date of purchase at no charge. Beyond one year, charges for time, material, and handling will be incurred. Warranty repair includes defects in material and workmanship only. Accidental damage or abuse repairs will always incur time, material, and handling charges. Shipping charges to our factory are the responsibility of the customer. Return shipping charges are also the responsibility of the customer (except for "in warranty" repairs for customers located within the USA). ** The Applied Instruments team will still be in place working on repairs but will be transitioning to Tescom processes at the start of 2020 **

If you need to return equipment, either
   -Click here to complete an online RMA request form, (NOTE: This will take you to the Tescom RMA form as of February 2020)

(**RMA number issuance is not instant. Please allow up to 24 hours for a reply via email.)

   -Call our factory at (800) 888-1978, or

   -Email us at support@tescomusa.com and indicate REPAIR REQUEST
      in the subject line. In your e-mail, include the following information:

       -Your name, email address, telephone number, ship-to address,
        and bill-to address
       -Model of instrument you have
       -Version of software that you have loaded if applicable
       -Serial number of the instrument
       -Detailed description of the issue

The RMA number should be referenced on the outside of the shipping box and on all correspondence relating to that particular shipment. Please include details of the service requested. Ensure that the equipment is securely packed with proper cushioning material on all sides. The unit should be insured for its full value in case of damage or loss in transit. After the repair is completed, we will contact you for payment. If payment is not received within 60 days after contact is made, then the repaired equipment will become the property of Applied Instruments.

Replacement/Spare Parts
Only parts that meet or exceed the original specification are used for maintenance and repairs. Hard copy operation manuals are also available at a nominal cost. Visit the Replacement Parts and Accessories page of our website. Soft copies (.pdf format) of the operation manuals are available for download at no charge from each product page on our website.

Version Updating And Channel Plan Additions
As our product lines are refined and features and performance are enhanced, we will upgrade older units at a nominal cost, plus shipping charges. Contact us at (800) 888-1978 for price and schedule if you are interested in having a unit updated.

Calibration
Periodic calibration may be necessary to ensure that the unit is operating within the original factory specifications. A standard calibration charge will be incurred.
