Super Buddy 29™ satellite meter!
Applied Instruments is proud to introduce the new Super Buddy 29 satellite meter.
The model Super Buddy 29 satellite signal level meter has all of the great features of the normal Super Buddy, but also features an internal combo 21/29 volt module that allows it to power the new DIRECTV SWM LNBs and WildBlue™ TRIAs (also powers TRIAs used by Telesat / Xplornet). Any owners of model Super Buddy 21 satellite meters (hardware version 2.0A) may send in their meters to have them modified at no charge to become Super Buddy 29 meters. You must receive a RMA# before sending meter to factory.
Any owners of standard Super Buddy meters with hardware version 2.0, 2.1, or 2.2 may have their meters modified to become Super Buddy 29 meters for US$59 (parts and labor). You must receive a RMA# before sending meter to factory.
Please send an email to info@appliedin.com to request a RMA# if interested in the upgrade. In the email, you must include your full name, your shipping address, your billing address (if applicable), the serial number of your meter (found on label on back of meter), your telephone number, the hardware version of your meter (displayed during the 10 second bootup countdown while meter is powering on), and a description of what service work you would like to have done.
